It’s been quite a busy week for me with two tests this week resulting in two passes. The first one was Jenn Hall from Heald Green on Thursday. She was recommended to Freeway Driving School by a friend who passed with me. I always say this is the best way to find a good driving instructor. It’s all well and good looking online where everybody says they are the best but when the person making the recommendation is a close friend who you can trust then you know you are in safe hands.
Jenn took her test at the new Cheadle Fire Station Test Center. The DSA are currently running tests from there two days a week taking the examiners from West Didsbury Test Center. I like doing tests there as they have some challenging but fair test routes. It’s good that the DSA recognised there wasn’t a test center that close so for local learners its ideal. Jenn passed with only 3 minor faults and said “Passed first time with Andy! Great Instructor, thank you!”
The Driving Standards Agency have been putting on a lot of extra Saturday tests around the area recently in a effort to bring down the long waiting times at some test centers. This is great news for anyone looking to book a short notice test like Daniella Watts who passed her test in Bredbury on Saturday. This was Daniella’s second test so as soon as we corrected what went wrong the first time Daniella was keen to book again and on Saturday she passed with only 2 minor faults. I came along on Daniella’s test as an observer and although I knew how nervous she was I thought she drove fantastically. Obviously the examiner was equally as impressed as she noticed just 2 control issues with the gears but nothing serious enough not to pass. A great result and a testament to all the hard work and effort Daniella put in.
The Freeway Xmas comp is coming in a couple of weeks so come back soon to enter!
