Fight Or Flight – Passing Your Test

So the latest passer is Saba Ambreen who had an amazing drive last week at West Didsbury Test Center and managed to pass with only 2 minor faults. This carries on a great standard for the year so far for me as every pupil that has passed with me in 2014 has had only 4 minors or less. One Size Doesn’t Fit All – How to Learn to Drive

Well it’s February already and this year seems to get busier and busier. Although I haven’t had any tests this week I have just had my busiest week so far and next week is set to be even more so. I have had 3 new learners this week all getting behind the wheel for the first time. It never ceases to amaze me just how diverse different people can be in their learning abilities, style and also speed of learning. Happy New Year

First of all I would like to wish everybody a Happy New Year.  So we are only a week in and I have kicked off the New Year with 3 test passes already. Lara Frankland and Leah Hilton both passed last week at West Didsbury Test Centre and Georgia Worthington passed this week at Sale Test Centre. The strange thing is all 3 of them passed with just 3 minor driver faults. Continue reading Happy New Year

Saturday Driving Tests

So these Saturday driving tests that the DSA have been putting on lately are continuing to pay off. Congratulations to Josh Turbill who passed at West Didsbury Test Center on Saturday 7th. I went out on the test with Josh as an observer and the one thing I didn’t expect was just how busy the roads were. Obviously if you book a driving test around rush hour on a week day you expect a lot of traffic. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the clock is still ticking on the test as you’re stuck in a traffic jam, but Saturday tests especially the earlier ones are usually much quieter.
